Washington, DC — Today, Liz Fairchild, Executive Director of Business Forward, issued a statement in support of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Reforms to Increase Equity and Level the Playing Field for Underserved Small Business Owners:
“Business Forward applauds the Biden-Harris Administration’s dedication to equity at all levels of government. This investment helps level the playing field for small disadvantaged businesses (SDBs) and promotes economic growth in historically underserved communities.
The federal government’s continued work toward more equitable spending will create opportunities for Black-owned, Latino-owned, women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and HUBZone businesses. Today’s action is a huge step toward achieving equity in small business and closing the persistent wealth gap.”
