Washington, D.C. – Earlier this week, the Biden-Harris Administration called on Congress to support critical domestic needs. Jim Doyle, President of Business Forward, issued the following statement in support of the Administration’s efforts to strengthen the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP):

“Business Forward urges Congress to approve President Biden’s request for an additional $6 billion to continue to make affordable, high-speed internet service available to tens of millions of households through the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). Without affordable broadband access, employees have a harder time working from home, and the small businesses that depend on those employees will struggle to grow. ACP is also critical to ensuring that the rural broadband networks being built with tens of billions of taxpayer dollars serve their mission and are financially sustainable.”
